Axis

Upgraded for 2004, this no-compromise cyclo-cross bike is a long-time favorite both for racing and fun on and off road. If you can have only one bike, this is the one. The frame’s Easton UltraLite tube shapes are derived from the Cross Concept. CNC machined drive-side chain stay yoke. We’ve added a third chainring for lower gearing, and the cable pulley on the seat tube allows for better shifting with road triple front derailleur. Threaded rear eyelets for fenders or rack, and fender eyelets on the new carbon fork make it a versatile commuter or light tourer (22lbs for the 55cm). Triple water bottle mounts mean there is room for that can of Bud on the way home.
